Document Description
The purpose of the project is to 1) enhance summer rearing habitat in Peters and Pescadero creeks for the benefit of endangered coho salmon and threatened steelhead by constructing an auxiliary water storage system large enough to allow Portola Redwoods State Park to operate on stored water and eliminate diversion from Peters Creek from June 15 through October 31 and 2) to protect juvenile salmonids that may be present during diversion operation by installing a CDFW and NMFS approved fish screen.
