Document Description
This planning project supports future implementation of four stream flow enhancement projects in upper Sonoma Creek, including an alluvial fan restoration project which will be taken to final design an off-channel water storage project which will be taken to conceptual design, and two fully planned water storage and water rights modification projects that will help two separate landowners eliminate the need for dry season diversion of water from Sonoma Creek. The goal of these actions is to improve summertime stream flow to help sustain steelhead and other native species in this critical portion of the watershed.
