Document Description
This planning project will develop final (100%) design plans for a suite of water conservation measures and a large-scale rainwater catchment system as an alternative water supply for playing field irrigation at the Mt. Gilead Bible Camp and Conference Center. These improvements will substantially reduce dry season water extraction from a series of shallow alluvial wells adjacent to Green Valley Creek and enhance late summer stream flows through a critical coho salmon rearing reach. The project also includes monitoring activities to document pre-project baseline conditions and support future evaluation of project effectiveness.
