This project will acquire three months of summer irrigation water forbearance in the amount of 83± acre-feet on San Gregorio Creek by installing irrigation system improvements, filing a California Water Code section 1707 petition with the State Water Resources Control Board to permissively dedicate the subject water right to instream use for fish and wildlife, and executing and recording a 20-year forbearance agreement to cease irrigation diversions during the months of August, September and October.
