Sutter County anticipates leasing the excess parcel, APN: 59-010-071 located in Yuba City, CA off Highway 20, from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for use as a temporary emergency shelter for the unsheltered per Governor Newsom's executive order N-23-20. The Governor's recent proclamation ordered a state of emergency, re. the COVID-19 virus, so we must expedite leases for quarantine/medical/sanitation projects.
