Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0162-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Redding. The project is limited to the installation of a pedestrian bridge over Boulder Creek as part of a lager project consisting of a 2,740-foot long 10-foot wide permeable pavement trail with lighting, wayfinding signs. The trail will connect Mill Valley Parkway to the Highway 299 trail. Additional project elements include 60 native trees with irrigation, electrical infrastructure for lighting, water infrastructure for irrigation, and a water fountain. The bridge will consist of an 80-foot long, 10-foot wide prefabricated steel bridge with concrete deck placed on precast concrete abutments placed on cast-in-place concrete footings located at the top of the streambank.
