The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans or Department) proposes to construct eight-foot paved shoulders, install rumble strips, and widen the Temecula Creek Bridge on State Route 79 (SR-79) within the project area to reduce the number and severity of collisions and improve motorist safety between post mile (PM) 5.4 and 11.4 in Riverside County, California.
