Caltrans proposes to improve worker safety by paving areas beyond the gore and constructing maintenance vehicle pullouts at various locations from post mile (PM) 8.3-8.6, 9.1-11.4 and 0.0-0.9 along interstate 51,80, and 244 in Sacramento County. The purpose of this project is to improve worker safety by reducing the frequency and duration of workers exposed to traffic and provide safe access to roadway facilities.
