Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-201 9-0445-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Christopher H. Neudeck, Reclamation District No. 403. The project is limited to the installation of up to 400 feet of sheet wall to stabilize the levee and ensure safety to any residents at Rough and Ready Island. The engineered sheet wall will be installed between levee stations 260+00 and 264+00, where work will occur on the upper portion of the levee on the water side. The project site impacted consists of concrete hardscaping and non-native landscaping. Straw wattles or sift fences will be installed at the existing wood retaining wall to prevent sediment materials from entering watercourses.
