Document Description
The Project involves the removal of an existing concrete pedestrian crossing (identified as a barrier to fish passage) and construction of a clear-span pedestrian bridge. The purpose of the project is to improve conditions for fish habitat and provide a safe, all-season, accessible pedestrian crossing linking Pioneer Park with the Calistoga Community Center and the downtown area. The Project would provide fish passage enhancement by removing a concrete barrier in the Napa River and facilitate access to upstream spawning and rearing habitat for juvenile and adult fish species.
