Document Description
Shasta County Department of Public Works is proposing to re-stripe sections of Old Oregon Trail within State right-of-way (ROW) to provide buffered bike lanes. Proposed work within the State ROW also includes placing a slurry seal on mainline Old Oregon Trail, relocation of an inductive detector loop to align with new striping, and widening of a small portion of Old Oregon Trail to fill in gap in bike lane. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed improvements within the State ROW.
