The proposed project involves the construction of a new siding track along the existing railroad track. Construction activities would be conducted with in the existing railroad ROW. The proposed project would not change the operational characteristics of freight and passenger rail traffic within the railroad corridor. No change in the population or land uses would occur as a result of this project.
