- The Proposed Project would retrofit the existing Facility to provide for natural sediment transport past the diversion and to protect fish species and habitats. The Proposed Project would be comprised of the following primary components: new intake structure and screen; new intake structure appurtenances; new valve control vault; bank protection and armoring; new monitoring and control equipment; new access and safety provisions; and modifications to the existing intake and sediment control bypass valves. The Proposed Project would not increase the diversion rates, which would remain consistent with existing operations at the Facility.
