Document Description
The proposed Bishop Operations Facility would provide significant benefit to EST A. The construction of a new facility will address growth in the operation, enhance safety and security, and reduce operating costs. The new facility would be located adjacent to the existing ESTA bus parking and maintenance at the Bishop Airport; it will include a modular office building with less than 2,500 square feet of floor space and a small employee parking area in an already disturbed area. Public transit operations have doubled in the past fifteen years. With the increase in operations there has been an increase in staff size and in the number of drivers that it takes to operate the system.
