Document Description
Rehabilitate Red Rock Trail in Mount Tamalpais State Park to reduce erosion and improve trail safety. Work will:
• Reconstruct approximately 1,280 feet of trail to restore outslope and/or existing inboard drainage function;
• Excavate and install approximately 180 stone steps three feet wide with eight-inch rises; and
• Use a combination of native soil from step excavation and brown shale to backfill behind steps to allow for drainage.
