The project footprint will be approximately 10 feet by 35 feet. An 18 inch by 6 inch by 30 feet trench will be dug for conduit. A five feet deep by four feet wide vault will be dug to contain seismometers and data loggers. Four six feet deep by eight inch holes will be dug for the solar array structure. Forty 12 inch garden blocks will surround the vault area. The system will consist of two structures, the .solar array and data logger with sensors. The project will be located off of Orwin Way, approximately 150 yards west of the road and approximately 50 yards north of the residence. This area has been disturbed for many years with farming activities. There are no special status species in the project area. Any small mammal or reptiles in the area will be able to relocate to adjacent habitat. Vegetation is invasive grasses and shrubs, no native vegetation will be removed. No entry of vehicles or equipment will be allowed outside of the project footprint and entry zones. Any open holes or trenches will be covered during construction to protect humans and wildlife.
