Document Description
The project is a Director's Order project to remove and replace failed pavement on 1--5 at select areas within the project limits. The scope of work includes removing and replacing 3 inches of failed pavement in select areas, lane striping, and traffic control. The purpose is to accelerate pavement repairs to avoid potential lane closures due to a lack of drivability. The emergency contract is needed to avoid the failure or threat of failure to the transportation system and to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, health, property, or essential public services.
