Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project will include replacement of approximately 20,400 linear feet (LF) of pipelines, provide water supply for fire protection, and add new fire hydrants. Construction will occur in four different neighborhoods within the City of South Lake Tahoe. The Project will be completed in three phases. Phase 1 is located at the Rocky Point #1 location and will consist of approximately 4,700 LF of waterline replacement. Phase 2 is located at the Bowers and Bijou locations and will consist of approximately 8,400 LF of waterline replacement. Phase 3 is located at the Black Bart location and will include approximately 7,300 LF of waterline replacement. Additionally, the Project will include replacement or new installation of fire hydrants, system isolation valves, zone intertie valves, water services, paving, and appurtenances.
