Document Description
The project designates seven properties as ecological reserves (defined in Fish and Game Code 1580) and one as a state wildlife area (FGC 1525). Four currently designated properties will be removed. The regulation improves public safety, recreation, natural resources, and further clarifies and provides consistency. The regulations set forth the use criteria for each property which could include hiking and biking, hunting, and other activities governed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
