Document Description
The project Is a Planned Development Permit, Coastal Development Permit, Site Development Permit, and Conditional Use Permit to construct a new elementary school on approximately 10.85-acre project site which encompasses the Del Mar
Heights School property at 13555 Boquita Drive. The redevelopment of the school Includes demolition of existing school building (48,426 square feet) and construction of new school buildings (66,823 square feet) for administration, classrooms, multi-purpose space, multi-use fields, play spaces, parking/access improvements and other associated site improvements such as drainage. The project site Is adjacent to MHPA; zoned R5-1-3 and Is within the Coastal (Appealable) Overlay Zone, Coastal Height Limit, Very High Fire Severity Zone, Brush Management (100-foot) zones, and Parking Impact Area (Coastal) within the Torrey Pines community planning areas.
