- The City proposes to use Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program funds from the Federal Highway Administration to conduct maintenance work on six City bridges (West Lane and Pershing Avenue over Calaveras River, Diamond Street over Mormon Slough, Santa Paula Way over Mosher Slough, Aurora Street over Mormon Slough, and Turnpike Road over Walker Slough). Preventative maintenance work includes scour countermeasures, deck sealing with methacrylate, road approach repairs, joint seal replacements, concrete spall and drainage repairs, thermoplastic striping application, barrier rail and sidewalk replacements, and erosion control.
