The Project includes the closure of ASPIRE Community Day School and facilities. Current ASPIRE Community Day School students will be distributed to the Districs remaining secondary school sites and the Betty G. Gibbet Regional Learning Center. Following extensive analysis by District staff, none of these receptor schools will be adding any new capacity as a result of these movements.

The school closure and consequent attendance reconfiguration of the receptor schools will not increase capacity by more than 25% or 10 classrooms at any of the receptor schools in accordance with CEQA Exemption I 5314 and Public Resources Code section 21080.18. The Project is not subject to any of the exceptions to the exemption set forth in CEQA Guidelines section 15300.2.
