Document Description
The Project addressed through CDFW's authorization is the ongoing operations of the State Water Project (SWP) in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta and the Suisun Marsh, only through March031, 2020, or until issuance of an incidental take permit in response to the Department of Water Resources' (DWR) pending request for long-term authorization. For this six-week period, operations will continue consistent with and as described in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) 2008 Biological Opinion (BO) for Delta smelt and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) 2009 Biological Opinion and Conference Opinion on the Long-term Operations of the Central Valley Project and the State Water Project, incorporated herein by reference.
