The County Certified and Adopted an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) by the Tulare County Planning Commission as Resolution No., 9762 and recorded on August 22, 2023, as document number 2023-0038510 for PSP 19-073. A
Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) was Certified and Adopted by the Tulare County Planning Commission as Resolution No., 1008 and recorded on March 6, 2024, as document number 2024-0010367. Special Use Permit No. PSP 19-073 (PC) was approved by the Tulare County Planning Commission, Resolution Number 9763 and recorded on August 22, 2023, as Document No. 2023-0038509 and allowed for the construction and operation of an up to 700 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) facility, including a battery energy storage system (BESS) with up to 700 MW storage capacity, on-site substation, transmission and/or collector lines, and ancillary components on approximately 3,614 acres of land. Special Use Permit No. PSP 22-006 (PC) was approved by the Tulare County Planning Commission, Resolution Number 22-10009 and recorded on March 6, 2024, as Document No. 2024-0010361 and allowed for the construction and operation of an up to 500-megawatt (MW) utility -scale solar farm with up to 500 MW of energy storage capacity on approximately 1,200 acres of land. Minor Modifications MIM 24-059 and MIM 24-060 modifies the original sites by proposing an additional approximately four (4) miles of alternate generation intertie (gen-tie) and/or collector line alignments
extending from SUP PSP 21-112, and (2) the minor modification to Special Use Permit (SUP) PSP 22-006 and SUP PSP 21-112 to transfer 150 MW-AC of Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) capacity from SUP PSP 22-006 (approved as part of the Rexford 2 Solar Project in 2022) to SUP PSP 21-112 (approved as part of a 2021 modification to the Rexford Solar Project, originally approved in 2020.
