Document Description
Install a new fiber optic cable line conduit at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park to provide an improved and dependable communications system for the park office, visitor center and museum. Work will: • In a previously disturbed area (between Volcano Road and the park Visitor Center) use a backhoe to excavate a 200' long x 24" deep x 12" wide trench; • At the Visitor Center, excavate to upsize the existing Christy box (pull box); • At Volcano Road, excavate an approximately 31" wide by 12" deep' 18" high hole and install a new concrete Christy box (pull box); • Place an approximately 200' long 2" electrical conduit in the trench; and • Use excavated spoils to backfill trench. Volcano Telephone will complete installation and connection/hook-up of new fiber optic lines.
