Document Description
Caltrans proposes to upgrade existing nonstandard Metal Beam Guardrail (MGBR) by installing new Midwest Guardrail Sytems (MGS). The purpose of the project is to enhance highway safety by reducing the potential and severity or run-off-road accidents. The need is that existing MBGR, end treatments, and transition railings do not meet current standards. The beneficiaries are the traveling public.
