Document Description
The project proposes to install 198 temporary parking stalls to be designated for UC Davis employees east of the MIND Institute building to help alleviate the current parking shortage. Current parking issues are exacerbated by construction activities at the UC Davis Medical Center with historic parking stock displaced to accommodate construction and new parking structures planned but not complete. It is anticipated that these temporary parking measures will be needed until 2025. The project scope includes removal of the paved asphalt concrete area, sidewalks and ramps. Capping of utility services to be demolished. Grade, excavate, and backfill as required for installation of gravel on prepped area. This project is within the scope of the 2020 LRDP Update EIR and findings pursuant to CEQA were prepared.
