Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0030-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to The CHY Company. The project includes the replacement of an existing culvert on a class II watercourse. The existing 36-inch by 20-feet culvert is undersized, failing, and shot-gunned. The fill has been undermined and a hole has eroded in the fill below the culvert outlet. The existing culvert will be removed and replaced with a 60-inch by 40-foot metal culvert set at base of fill and along the natural channel alignment. It is anticipated that water will be present at time of work. The channel will be dewatered prior to operations.
