Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0884-R1 , pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mendocino County Department of Transportation, represented by Howard Dashiell. The project is limited to one encroachment. It replaces a failing 18-inch diameter culvert with a 30-inch diameter culvert sized to pass a 100-year flow event. It will be installed at stream gradient and aligned with the stream channel.

The project replaces an existing culvert at the same location with one sized to pass the 100-year flow and installed to current standards. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15056. The new culvert will have the same purpose and capacity.
