Caltrans District 9 is proposing to install 3 road weather information systems (RWIS) and camera systems (CCTV) in 2 areas on U.S. Route 395 in Mono County, CA The RWIS and CCTV systems are pole mounted, which will require minor earthwork and trenching. The locations identified often experience difficult travel conditions due to inclement weather, and traveler safety will be improved if travelers are aware of upcoming weather and road conditions.
