Document Description
The project will install a security gate and associated barriers at the intersection of Buzzard Lagoon Road and Aptos Creek Fire Road in The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park to increase law enforcement access, visibility, and protection of resources. Work will: • Excavate two (2) 4' deep by 3' diameter post holes and install gate posts secured with concrete; • Install a 16' steel gate between the posts; and • Construct approximately 65' long barriers on either side of the new gate. Barriers will be composed solely of any combination of boulders, downed wood, steel posts in concrete, and/or steel cable.
