Document Description
This Addendum No. 1 updates the Descanso Gardens Master Plan Final Program Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), adopted by the County of Los Angeles in October 2020, to address modifications to water conservation elements in the Master Plan to be located in the Main and Auxiliary Parking Lots. These include a different diversion point, underground cistern in lieu of a treatment wetland, expanded infrastructure for distribution, and parking lot drainage features. The Project would divert, treat, and reuse stormwater captured from Winery Canyon Channel to a 4.5-acre-foot cistern to offset potable water use for landscape irrigation and Lake level maintenance. The modifications would not result in any new significant or substantially more severe environmental impacts than disclosed in the IS/MND; and there is no substantial change in Master Plan scope, circumstances, or new information of substantial importance
