Document Description
The project is limited to widening and replacing bridge rails and shoulder overhang to include four-foot shoulders. Overall bridge width will increase by four feet. Existing roadway approach shoulders will also be widened to four feet for approximately 50 linear feet, on each side, to match the bridge width. The project is also limited to the installation of temporary work pads below the bridge, the removal and replacement of an East Bay Municipal Utilities District water monitoring station, and the installation of angular rock slope protection in an unvegetated area under the north bridge abutment to discourage illegal camping.
