Continuation of project title: "...Reclamation, Del Puerto Water District, and Oak Flat
Water District (SWPAO #21301-A)."
The project is an amendment to Agreement SWPAO #21301, dated August 16, 2021, which provides for the delivery by the Department of Water Resources (DWR) of State Water Project (SWP) water to Del Puerto Water District (DPWD) in exchange for the Bureau of Reclamation making an equivalent amount of Central Valley Project (CVP) water available to DWR at O’Neill Forebay. Amendment No. 1 revises the agreement to:
(1) extend the term of the agreement until February 28, 2035, and
(2) include the Shiraz Ranch Turnout as an additional point of delivery of SWP water to DPWD. The Shiraz Ranch Turnout is an existing diversion facility located at approximately Milepost 49.52R, in Reach 2A of the California Aqueduct. DWR prepared an Addendum to the 2020 Initial Study/Negative Declaration to add the Shiraz Ranch Turnout as a point of delivery of State Water Project water to DPWD, in addition to OFWD’s turnouts.
