Document Description
To authorize an existing Chinese pistachio tree, an existing gate, and to install approximately 60 total feet, 18 feet perpendicular and 42 feet parallel to the levee, of a three foot tall, two-rail steel fence, each section of fencing will consist of 4"x4" posts and 3"x2" cross rails, along the landside slope of the oversized levee.

Board staff has determined the project is exempt from CEQA under the Class 1, Existing Facilities and Class 3, New Construction of Small Structures categorical exemptions (CEQA Guidelines§ 15301 and § 15303), because the proposed activity consists of permitting existing landscaping and a gate, and the construction of additional fencing. Further, none of the exceptions to the exemption in CEQA Guidelines§ 15300.2 apply.
