Document Description
The proposed Ross Reservoir Landslide Repair Project involves stabilization of an active slide downslope from the existing Ross Reservoir. The landslide stabilization requires removal of trees and vegetation in the landslide repair area, construction of two tie-ins to the existing 24-inch outlet pipe installation of benches cut into the bedrock, installation of a drainage system within the slide stabilization area, construction of a slope buttress, revegetation of the slide area, relocation of a water transmission line, and construction of a new access road and access improvements. The full project description and avoidance measures are included as Appendix A of this Notice of Exemption. Additional information on the project is provided in Appendix B of this Notice of Exemption. As an initial step in furtherance of the Ross Reservoir Landslide Repair Project, the District has approved the removal of trees and vegetation obstructing the landslide repair area.
