This project qualifies for a Class 5 Categorical Exemptions from the provisions of the CEQA, pursuant to Sections 15305 of the CEQA Guidelines. The project entails correction of an encroaching building over an existing property line by merging two contiguous parcels of land under common ownership. The Lot Consolidation would not create a new parcel and, therefore, does not represent an alteration in land use limitations resulting in an increase in land use or density.
