Document Description
Remove native and non-native vegetation and undertake annual mowing at the vista point in Trinidad State Beach to restore and maintain the longstanding viewshed. Work will use hand tools to remove all trees less than 8" DBH (diameter at breast height), and if possible use trees that are removed with roots intact to revegetate areas where non-native plants were already removed. Excavation depths related to tree removal will not exceed 24". After tree removal, State Parks maintenance staff will conduct annual moving of the area to maintain the cleared areas.
