Reasons for Exemption
The proposed improvements are located within the existing right-of-way as well as the existing floodway channel Riverwalk. There will be no widening or work performed outside of the public right-of-way; therefore, the improvements will not result in the disturbance of any sensitive resources. Potential noise Impacts will be short-term construction-related noise. The project will improve pedestrian and bicycle safety and accessibility.
