Document Description
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) proposes to remove the “History of Medicine in California” murals from Toland Hall, a lecture room located on the first floor of UC Hall, Room 142. The murals need to be removed prior to interior demolition and abatement of the building for future demolition of UC Hall and construction of the planned Research and Academic Building (RAB). The murals would be relocated to a UCSF storage facility at Oyster Point or other appropriate facility, based on space availability. The reinstallation of the murals in a new location will be part of a separate project once a new location has been determined. The proposed project is consistent with the UCSF 2014 Long Range Development Plan, as amended.
