Complete improvements in the day use area of Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park to bring this area and its facilities into compliance with the California State Parks accessibility guidelines and associated legal mandates. Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of the repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond current levels, included as "modifications of existing facilities for disabled access" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR §15300.4; the construction and location of a limited number of new facilities; and the minor public alteration in the condition of land and/or vegetation which does not include removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
