Document Description
Replace failing skirting on park residence structures at Olompali State Historic Park and China Camp State Park to prevent pests from entering the crawl spaces under the homes and damaging the structures. At each structure, work will:
• Remove and dispose of the old skirting;
• Excavate up to 12 inches deep along the perimeter and install ½ inch hardware cloth as a barrier;
• Backfill with excavated native soil;
• Install new ½ inch plywood skirting and fasten to the residence with exterior deck screws; and
• Install a one-way spring loaded door to allow any trapped animals to exit.
