Document Description
The proposed project would restore 172 acres of floodplain habitat, plant understory vegetation, remove non-native weeds across 113 acres, and revegetate 22,000 native plants. A total of 285 acres of land would be managed as floodplain habitat, relieving flooding pressure on local communities. This is an extension of the applicant’s Dos Rios Restoration Project, in which restored lands according to the Grantee will “most likely” be transferred to the USFWS as part of its wildlife refuge system.
