Document Description
The project is limited to the extension of an existing culvert under Sierra College Boulevard in conjunction with widening the road from 4-6 lanes and constructing sidewalks and bike lanes on both sides of Sierra College Boulevard. The existing culvert headwall will be removed and a 14 linear foot length of 60-inch corrugated metal pipe with a flared metal end section will be installed at the upstream end of the existing culvert. On the downstream end of the road crossing, a 34 linear foot length of 60-inch corrugated metal pipe with a flared end section will be added to the existing culvert. Rip rap will be installed at the downstream end of the culvert extension (approximately 35-feet long by 20-feet wide, 86 cubic yards).
