Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0696-R1 , pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Chad Gordon. The project is limited to one encroachment. The single proposed encroachment will allow construction of a rocked ford within a road prism that connects overflow of an existing wetland to the head of a Class Ill channel.Work for this encroachment will include excavation to allow water flow across the road at the ford location and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.

The project to be completed is located within the South Dobbyn Creek and Eel River watershed, approximately 4 miles east southeast of the town of Alderpoint, County of Trinity, State of California. Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project will install a rocked ford at a wetland pond outlet crossing a road. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
