Document Description
DWR will have a Contractor install Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging stations. Site preparation will include removal of existing landscape from project footprint. Electrical conduit installation will be trenched and routed from designated power source to new concrete pad. New pad construction and existing lot will be modified to adopt to new ADA regulations. Charging station foundation will be six by nine feet to support electrical disconnect, transformer and panel board. There will be five duel port EV chargers installed. Staging will be on existing paved parking lot and roadways. All work will be within DWR right-of-way.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves electrical extensions with parking lot improvements and will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 3 (d) will be used for CEQA compliance since this activity can be implemented without any serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource.
