Project does not exceed 5 acres in size, there are no significant adverse impacts on
endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to Section 15065, there are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed, and the project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past project, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects in that the project is intended to maintain, restore, enhance and protect habitat for fish, plants and wildlife by restoring an approximate reach of 3000 feet of Bear Creek through a montane meadow. Further, the project will augment riffles to promote aggradation, reactive remnant channels to increase water to the meadow, and place boulders and log structures instream to stabilize stream banks.
