Document Description
The Project includes construction of three new wellhead treatment facilities for 1,2,3 Trichloropropane removal using Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) at well #4 located at Del Rey Avenue, well #6 located at Avila Avenue and well #7 located at Carmel Avenue. The three well treatment facilities include installation of three new GAC tanks with foundations, installation of six pairs of new owner-furnished GAC tanks with piping, new chlorination equipment, two new turbine pumps, three new 44,000-gallon backwash tanks with new foundations and two new 12-foot chemical buildings to house existing chemical tanks. The Project also includes installation of a 12-inch, 728-foot pipeline from Well #5 at Pismo avenue that continues along the right-of-way connecting to Well #6 at Avila Avenue. The Project will install 315 new residential water meters, 43 new commercial water meters, 600 feet of chain-link fencing, one new stand-by generator, piping, yard clearing, resurfacing and paving, electrical work and related appurtenances.
