Document Description
The Del Rey Community Services District (District) proposes to install wellhead treatment systems at three of the District's existing water well sites in Del Rey in order to reduce concentrations of the synthetic organic compound 12,3-Trichloropropane (TCP) in the District's drinking water supply to below the California State Water Resources Control Board's adopted maximum contaminate level (MCL) for TCP. The project would include installation of granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment systems at well sites 4, 6, and 7 as well as a buried pipeline connecting the existing well at well site 5 to the proposed treatment system at well site 6. No project activities are proposed at the District's well site 3.
