Document Description
This project consists of the installation of twenty-two (22) steel pre-fabricated ADA compliant fire rings at the Culp Valley Primitive Campground in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The fire rings will be placed in locations that either have a rock ring or burn scar from previous illegal ground fires in the campground to eliminate the increasing number and locations of illegal ground fires. A 36" diameter area of soil up to 4" deep will be cleared for each fire ring. "No Wood Gathering Signs" will be placed near each campsite and two directional "Camping" and "No Camping" signs at the entrance road fork with wooden posts in holes 8" in diameter and up to 3 feet deep.
